The production process of ceramic mug

Crafting a ceramic mug combines art and skill. It unfolds through several precise steps, turning raw materials into environmentally friendly item. Here’s how it’s done:

1.Choose raw material

The first step in making a ceramic mug begins with selecting raw materials.Using clay to make ceramic mugs adheres to the concept of environmental protection from the very beginning. The thermal conductivity of clay is relatively low, which can maintain the temperature of beverages for a longer time.

2.Shaping and molding

Put the prepared clay into the mold, then press it with a machine, then the mold was formed and the mug was created.

3.Air drying

The mug is then fitted with a handle and dried in a dryer for three to four hours.By air-drying, the moisture in the green body is allowed to dissipate slowly and evenly, preventing cracking and deformation during the firing process.

4.Glazing

Apply the inner glaze first, and then the outer glaze. The glazed ceramic mug not only has a smooth and shiny surface, but also showcases a rich artistic style. It combines practicality and aesthetics.

5.High temperature firing

Afer glazing,it is placed in a kiln at a temperature of 1280 degrees for firing.

6.Quality inspection and packaging

Check the surface, shape, handle, and other aspects of the ceramic cup to ensure aesthetics, durability, and safety. After quality inspection, proceed with packaging.
