The "Pastoral Poem" series is a light and elegant reinterpretation of the soul of the 19th-century British Arts and Crafts Movement using 21st-century modern watercolor brushstrokes. We do not replicate the complexity and magnificence of William Morris's work; instead, we capture the core essence of his "imitation of nature", aiming to create a "paper garden" and a "peaceful refuge at the dining table" that is within reach for the fast-paced urban life.
