The glaze color is like the morning mist of the Alps, with a bluish tint mingled with the coolness of the freshly melted snow on the mountain tops. The arc of the rim conceals the ridge lines - not sharp, yet with a backbone. When held in the palm, the warmth and coolness of the clay spread out, like the hot cocoa flowing down from a snow slope, leaving an imprint of the wind. The texture of the dinner plate is like an untouched snowfield, with fine lines like ice crystals. When filled with smoked meat and rye bread, the matte porcelain surface softens the color, like the fireplace firelight spreading across the table, making each meal a private conversation between the mountain fog and the wooden house.
It understands the silence of the mountain range: there is no need to respond, but it allows the snow, wind and fire to gently embrace each other here.
